The Difficulty Between Lyng and Hyer.—John Lyng appeared yesterday before Justice Bogart and gave bail in $1,000 to answer the charge of assault and battery with intent to kill Chas. Lozier, on the night of the 14th inst., in the porter-house of one Philips, in Mercer-st. J. L. Russell of No. 140 Church st. went bondsman for Lyng. The accused, immediately after giving bail, made application for a warrant against Hyer for an alleged felonious assault upon him. He was referred to Justice Osborn, who issued a warrant for Hyer on a charge of assault and battery, and placed it in the hands of Officer Lord for execution.
