There will be a district meeting of the Duluth diocesan council at Virginia next Monday, March 18. The meeting will be opened with high mass at 10 o'clock at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic church, followed by a meeting of the board of directors at the Fay hotel at 12 o'clock. At 1 o'clock a luncheon will be held at the Fay hotel and a business session will be held during the afternoon. Mrs. P. J. Billeadeau, president of the Grand Rapids district council, Mrs. Sylvester Hewis, Mrs. Ray Leroux and other ladies who are members are planning on attending the meetings at Virginia.
