Radio Men Wanted by
U. S. Army Air Corps

KELLY FIELD. May 16-(Special) -
Uncle Sam moved this week to
strengthen the personnel of Air
Force communications when it was
announced that qualified radio men
now may through voluntary enlist-
ment or induction go directly into
the 3rd Communications Squadron.
Master Sgt A. W. Johnson pre-
pared immediately to interview ap-
plicants and urged that all amateur
radio operators, code specialists and
men experienced in radio mainten-
ance contact him at Kelly Field at
once.
Applicants may obtain their re-
lease from local draft boards, Sgt.
Johnson explained, and enlist in
the Army of the United States, with
the request that they be reassigned
immediately to 3rd Communications.
