The third day's returns gave changes and additions to former returns as follows:
Anderson county elects populist commissioner by 16 plurality; rest republican ticket by figures ranging from 150 to 702.
Republic county elects entire republican ticket by from 367 to 1,674. Last year the republicans carried this county by about 100.
Cloud county elected republican sheriff by 125; populists elect treasurer, surveyor and coroner by 240, 50 and 100. Clerk still in doubt. Populists had an average plurality of 317 last year.
Logan county elects populist surveyor and one commissioner, by 95 and 8; rest of ticket republican, 27 to 240.
Osage county claims a republican sheriff by 100; rest of ticket is populist.
Wilson county re-elects democrat county clerk, rest of ticket republican by an average majority of 250; an increase over last year of more than 100.
Jefferson county gives republican majorities of 500 to 800; fusion average majority in 1892 was 115.
Clay county elects populist ticket except treasurer.
The county gave republican judge 74.
Nemaha elects entire republican ticket by majorities of 200 to 700.
Wallace elects populist ticket by about 20, except surveyor and coroner.
Linn elects entire republican ticket by majorities of 74 to 200.
Kiowa elects republican ticket except sheriff.
Cowley elects entire republican ticket by majorities of from 425 to 500.
Shawnee county had four tickets. Republicans elected everything by majorities over all, on the vote in the city of Topeka, ranging from 950 to 1,311.
Leavenworth county elected a divided ticket.
