Candidates Enter Home Stretch With Renewed Energy; Ownership of Five Grand Prizes Will Be Decided This Week and Extra Votes Are Piling Up in Large Numbers.

With the new extra vote offer on and the end of the campaign only ten-days distant, the candidates of The Bismarck Tribune's great Automobile and Prize campaign are bending every effort to obtain every subscription possible now.

The new offer of 150,000 in extra votes on clubs has created a decided impression and no sooner had the offer been made public before the workers started their campaigns with the idea of taking a share of these extra votes.

Two important dates now loom large on the horizon of candidates, -Saturday, Sept. 16, the closing day in which candidates may turn into the office, and Saturday, Sept. 23. the closing day of the campaign. The wise candidates, the one who is really in earnest in this affair, who really wants to share in the distribution of automobiles and other prizes when the race ends, will not let any grass grow under his or her feet during the next ten days. for they realize that their competitors will be bending every energy to corral each possible subscription.

Now is Critical Period

The decisive efforts of the campaign will be made between now and the close and no matter how much or how little a candidate may have accomplished up to this time, it is up to them to redouble their efforts now in order to maintain any lead they may have, or to regain any lost ground.

The race is not always to the swift,:and in this, as in most any other sort of an undertaking. it is the person who keeps everlastingly at it who gets the big rewards.

The extra vote offer is of only two weeks' duration, and less than one week of this period now remains, so it is necessary for those who hope to benefit through these offers to get busy at once.

The campaign managers wish to impress on all candidates the importance of putting in their best licks- now. It matters not what degree of success may have been attained during the first period, it is up to every, candidate who hopes to attain his ambition when the final accounting comes to do his level best now.

Candidates Closely Bunched.

As one may see by last Monday's Vote Standings the candidates are closely bunched and it is impossible to forecast the winners. It is as yet anybodys race. Only pep and perseverance will decide.
