A letter received at New York, from Augusta, Georgia, of the 6th inst. says, that early in the night of that morning, Mr. Henry Schulz, the founder of the new town of Hamburg, shot himself with six buck shot. When he presented the pistol to his forehead, it seems he elevated his hand a little, and the shot struck his eyebrows and glanced down. He was alive, and even considered not dangerous by the surgeon. The act was committed in his own house.
