Lawyers Left in the Lurch.

ROCKFORD, Ill., Jan. 30.- Mary Bailey, alias Norris, of Chicago, has just created another sensation. Attorneys Frost and McEvoy were interested in getting her released from the jail on a charge of adultery. She agreed to give them a lien on her furniture to pay them. Instead of that she gave a chattel mortgage for a large sum to another party and skipped out, thus defrauding her attorneys out of their fees. The furniture is quite valuable, and is still in this city. The attorneys will make a fight to receive possession.
