SO SAYS THE UNITARIAN GENERAL CONVENTION.
And Believe This a Sufficient Basis for the Religious Unity of the World-The Resolutions as Adopted by the Convention
Washington, October 23-At the Unitarian business meeting Carroll D. Wright reported the revision of the resolutions previously proposed on Christian unity They were finally adopted by the conference as follows:
Resolved, That this church accepts the religion of Jesus, holding in accordance with His teachings that practical religion is summed up in the love to God and love to man. We cordially invite to our working fellowship any who while differing from us in belief are in general sympathy with our spirit and practice.
Resolved, That this National Council give the above declaration the widest possible publicity as a sufficient basis not only for "Christian unity," but for the religious unity of the world
