NEW LONDON, Sept. 29.

We hear that a Post who left Ticonderoga Yesterday Se'nnight, arrived at His Honor Governor Trumbull's, last Wednesday. It is said he brings Intelligence that an Express had arrived at Ticonderoga, from our Forces at Isle aux Noix, with Intelligence that a Detachment of 150 Men had been sent from our Forces there, to Chamblee (lying between St. John's and Montreal,) with a View to cut off the Communication between those two Places; and that upon their Arrival at Chamblee they were joined by 300 Canadians in Arms.
