Three educational films to be shown in the school gymnasium Thursday evening, March 31 at 8 p.m., will be of interest to all parents. The Parent-Teacher Association is sponsoring the show under the auspices of Miss Elizabeth Moxley, health educator from the Territorial Health Department, for this special meeting because of the poor turnout of parents at the regular meeting this month.
Human Growth
The Film "Human Growth" which creates an instructional atmosphere that permits the facts of human sex to be discussed without embarrassment or tension, was planned primarily for classroom use in grades six to nine. It has been endorsed by the National Congress of Parents and Teachers and has been widely used by P-TA's throughout the country.
Those parents who saw the film at the meeting this month heartily endorse it for classroom use here but the many parents who did not attend have since requested this extra showing. Mr. Carlson, superintendent of schools, will introduce the films.

P-TA TO SHOW
(Continued from Page 1) Superintendent of schools states he is desirous that parents give their views in an open meeting after the show, as to their willingness to show or not to show the film in school classrooms.
Learn To Eat
The second film to be shown is "The School that Learned to Eat." and it tells how a community-school program brought about improvement in conditions that lead to better health and nutrition for the children and the entire community. The picture is in technicolor and should be interesting, especially to the parents of children who bring lunches to school.
Emotional Needs
The third film is "The Emotional Needs of Children." It may answer some of the questions that parents as well as teachers often ask.
This educational show is free to all parents of school and pre-school children. Others who are earnestly interested in the education and welfare of the children may take this opportunity to better inform themselves of recent developments in education so that they can fully cooperate with the school in better teaching for the children.
