Fire! -Between 10 and 11 o'clock last night a fire suddenly burst from the large wooden Cotton Warehouse of Mr. Joseph Ganahl, on the Bay corner of Abercorn-street, which in a short time enveloped every part of it, together with 1100 bales of Cotton stored within it. By the exertions of the Fire Company and citizens, however, the neighboring warehouses of Mr. Joseph Cumming were saved. The loss, as we learnt last night, is about $33,000, of which $27,000 is insured principally in Augusta.
The building, it is said, "was fired by an incendiary—the large mass of Cotton (1100 bales) was still burning when our paper went to press; without any immediate danger however to property in its vicinity."
