I beg you to consider how disagreeable it must be to a poor Countryman, when he goes to town, to hear the intolerable yelling and bawling of boys in the street, and if he happens to go into one of your houses of public worship on a week day, to hear the still small voice of wisdom, the yelling and screaming of boys around the house so stun him, that instead of going home instructed by divine truth he returns confused and ashamed of the Capital of the D. of Maine. and rejoices when he is again allied with the much more harmonious and cheerful sounds of the beating of his sheep.
If such boys have no parents, is there no law are there no officers?
