Yesterday by a Rule of the Court of King's Bench, directed to the Marshal of the Marshalsea, Mrs. Mary Dinely Goodier, Wife of John Dinely Goodier, Esq; of Charlton, in the County of Worcester, was brought up to undergo the Judgment of that Court, for a Conspiracy against her said Husband, who, with five others by a special Jury, were convicted last Michaelmas Term. The Senior Judge, as usual, pronounced the Sentence, and admonished her to repent of that heinous Crime, &c. she had been guilty of; the Hand that was to be the chief Support of her Family, appeared plain to be the chief Instrument, that wickedly, in Combination, sought her Husband's Destruction; and recommending the Necessity of her repenting of this Wickedness, he then pronounced this favourable Sentence, in respect to her Illness; a small Fine, and to be remanded back to King's Bench Prison, there to remain a whole Year.---The said Gentleman carried a Cause some Time ago in the said Court against the late Sir Robert Jaon, Bart. and had a Verdict of 1000 l. Damages for Criminal Conversation with his said Wife.
