Domestic Science Hall For Graded School—Literary Sorosis—People Coming and Going.

Prosperity, August 18.—Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cannon have returned to Columbia after a visit to Mrs. M. H. Boozer.

Mrs. Lyda Derrick and Miss Irene Curlee, of Winnsboro, are the guests of Mrs. Jacob S. Wheeler.

Advices from Rev. and Mrs. E. W. Leslie tell us that they are enjoying the vacation in Virginia.

Rev. George Beaden, of Elizabeth City, N. C., is here visiting his family.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hunter, of Newberry, spent Sunday with Dr. G. Y. Hunter.

Dr. Frank Lander, of Williamston spent the week-end with Mr. J. F. Browne.

Mr. W. E. Moseley has returned from his summer vacation in Nannas, Ga., and the piedmont section of South Carolina.

The Misses Jackson, of Chester, are visiting Mrs. W. A. Moseley.

Miss Nannie Wheeler is spending a few days in Little Mountain.

Mr. S. S. Birge was a business visitor in Columbia Saturday.

Mr. Carl Fellers left Monday for Albany, Ga., where he will be engaged in the cotton business.

Miss Kathleen Counts, of Little Mountain, is visiting Miss Lois Counts.

Miss Eunice Shealy, of the O'Neall section, is visiting her brother, Mr. T. L. Shealy.

Mrs. Melissa Lovelace, of Newberry is spending a few days with Mrs. J. M. Werts.

Mr. Carl Counts, of Little Mountain, spent Sunday with Mr. Robert Counts.

Miss Grace Burton Reagin has as her guest Miss Lucile Counts, of Pomaria.

Mr. A. H. Kohn, and family, of Columbia, spent Sunday at Wise Hotel.

Mr. R. E. Shealy, of Savannah, is visiting his mother, Mrs. Della Shealy.

Mrs. B. B. Hair has returned from a month's visit to her daughter in Chicago.

Misses Gertrude Bobb and Marie Kohn are spending a few days in Greenwood.

The Literary Sorosis will meet Friday afternoon at five with Mrs. M. C. Morris.

Mr. R. C. Counts, of Columbia, came up Friday and was accompanied home by his family.

Master Muller Kreps, of Columbia, is visiting Master Pat Wise.

Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Wise are spending several weeks in the Blue Ridge mountains, of Tennessee.

Master George Wise is spending the week in Columbia.

Mr. Pierce Scott has gone to Camden.

Work has begun on the new domestic science building on the graded school ground.
