During the late adjourned sitting of the Supreme Court, near a dozen verdicts were given upon claims of British goods, seized for illegal importation. All these, save one parcel, were imported in the ship Perseverance.
From the Danish island of St. Thomas. That which is particularised was from New-York. In this last, and in seven of the others, general verdicts were found for the prosecutor: one was special. The Court pronounced judgment of forfeiture upon all. It is supposed that the half for the state, arising out of the seizures by the ship Perseverance, will exceed 4000l.
