Sixteen Benton county candidates spent $643.93 in their primary campaigns, accounts filed with the auditor-clerk revealed Tuesday. Other candidates had not filed their expenditure accounts.
The candidates, the offices they sought and their expense include: W. C. Travis of Kiona, commissioner, $42.50; R. R. Woods of White Bluffs, treasurer, $46.98; Louis P. Kelly of Prosser, treasurer, $76.50; Harley Chapman of Prosser, clerk, $36; Ben Knox of Prosser, treasurer, $32.20 and W. S. Jenkins of Prosser, treasurer, $82.70.
