LIQUOR DEALERS' ASSOCIATION

A well attended meeting of saloon-keepers and general liquor dealers, called for the purpose of taking some action in reference to the Sunday closing law passed by the Convention, was held yesterday, at about 1 o'clock, at the Crescent Hall.

The meeting was private, but it is known that the expressions in opposition to the law were earnest, and that it was decided to take a determined stand against it. Preliminary steps toward a united movement were taken, and the meeting adjourned after making arrangements for a future reassembling.
