GLASGOW, SEPT. 14.
This day's Irish mail brings intelligence, that the Captain of the Carysfort English frigate had passed through Dublin, for England, with GLORIOUS INTELLIGENCE from India. Extract of a letter from Galway, Ireland, Sept. 8. "I have the pleasure to inform you, that an East India packet arrived this day in our port, and brings the Glorious Intelligence of the CAPTURE of SERINGAPATAM, the capital of the dominions of Tippo Saib, by the British troops. Tippo himself was killed in the battle which preceded the capture."
Limerick, Ireland, Sept. 8.
The Carysfort frigate has arrived here from India. The Captain is going for London, express. An American vessel has arrived at Bath, which spoke the Carysfort frigate at sea, and received from on board the information of the death of Tippo, and the capture of his dominions by the English.
