Tegucigalpa, Honduras, March 22.—
General Lara, a veteran of the Nicaraguan revolution, and General Palma, both of whom commanded divisions of the Honduran government troops in the recent uprising in this country, were killed in a riot at Comayaguela, a suburb of Tegucigalpa on Sunday.
The riot finally became a pitched battle and it was estimated that not less than forty of the followers of the two generals were killed and some fifty others, including several women spectators, wounded. Among the dead is a son of General Dionicio Gutierrez.
