Takes Five at Sea Girt and is One of the Best With Revolver.
Major E. L. Isbell returned yesterday from Sea Girt, where he has been taking part in the national military shoot. As a result of the meet he is classed as one of the best revolver shots in the country. City Attorney Simpson won the President's rifle match, and, with Major Isbell's wins, this city did the best of any city in the country.
There were 231 to take part in the revolver match, and Major Isbell was tenth, which gives him a medal. His wins include five prizes, three firsts, one third and the tenth place mentioned. In the big match he made 230, while the winner made 238. John Corie, of the Blues of this city, in the same match made 223, which was a good score, but which was just outside of the prizes.
City Attorney Simpson did not compete in the revolver matches.
