Letters from Berlin, 28th Nov. received here (Paris Dec. 7) this instant announce a first engagement, in Prussian Poland, between the French and Russians, in which the latter have been most horribly beaten, and completely routed, and have lost a world of men in killed and wounded. The French are received with enthusiasm by the Poles; and by the 1st of Dec. there will be 100,000 men of that nation incorporated into our armies. Letters from the frontiers of Poland say, that already the Russian columns are retreating by long marches, in consequence of the good reception which the French have given them. These details come from a good source.
