Dom Pedro The Emperor of Brazil passed here on last evening's train bound for Philadelphia. We learned from one of his suite that he intended to visit the Comstock, but an accident which delayed the train eight or nine hours in the mountains induced him to change his mind and return east, lest he should miss being present at the opening of the Centennial Exhibition May 10th. When he learned that the train on which he was a passenger would be delayed several hours, in consequence of an accident to a freight train he asked if anybody was hurt, and on being informed that no one was injured he took a philosophical view of the matter and exhibited no symptoms of uneasiness or displeasure during the time the train was delayed.
