The Appearance of an Agreement between the Emperor and France, in Relation to Luxemburg, still continues. We are assured, that the Emperor will yield up that Dutchy to France for a Sum of Six Million Five Hundred Thousand Florins, upon Condition that the Fortifications of Luxemburg should be demolish'd: But the Ministers of their High Mightinesses, to whom Orders have been given to penetrate this Intrigue, remark, that the Ministers of the Emperor will not consent to part with this Dutchy upon those Terms, and that those of the Court of France keep a profound Silence upon this Subject: And that since the Ministry of the Cardinal, Affairs which have had a successful Issue have not fail'd at Court of being much talked of; so that there are yet some faint Hopes that this expected Cession will not take Place.
