At Art Institute
Tuesday Night
Opening of an exhibition of
children's art at the Dayton Art
institute will be held May 24 at
8 p. m.
Martha K. Schauer, assistant
principal of Stivers High school
and director of the Art Institute's
Saturday school, will speak on
"The Educational Value of Art
Activity".
Following the talk demonstra-
tions by students will be held in
the gallery.
The exhibition will combine
the work of children in the Sat-
urday school, after-school classes
of the education department and
paintings by French children.
Paintings by the French chil-
dren were organized by the Mu-
seum of Modern Art and the Day-
ton showing is co-sponsored by
the Ohio Federation of Women's
clubs.
