LEWIS OUT ON BOND.
Set at $2000-Dudley Slaughter Still in Custody.

Late Friday afternoon A. E. Lewis, who was in jail charged with having something to do with the murder of C. M. Hilderbrand, was released from custody on a $2000 bond. Max Weistheimer and Jake A. Bodovitz going on his bond.

The bond was allowed at the instance of Attorney W. B. Johnson, to whom was referred a copy of the testimony as adduced at the partial preliminary hearing about a week ago.

Mr. Johnson says he has some testimony that he wants to introduce, which is the cause of the case being held up. Dudley Slaughter still remains in custody.
