Full Text

Knickerbocker.—We are indebted to the proprietors, Messrs. Clark & Edson: for the October number of this elegant Magazine. It is got up in a style of neatness and taste in its mechanical execution, unsurpassed by any publication in this country, and its literary merits are too well known and appreciated to require a word from us on this subject. Some, we may say nearly all, of the best writers in this country are contributors to its pages. Indeed it stands at the head of the monthlies in the United States.
