Richmond, Va., March 17—Westhampton College students have elected May Gunter Edmonds, of Accomac, as manager of basketball for the 1942-43 college year. She defeated Evermond Hardee, of Florence, S. C. for the position in last week's elections.

Reba Booker, of Naruna was elected president of the college Athletic Association, defeating Althea Johnson, of Harrisonburg, and Florine Nuckols, of Richmond, for the position. Barbara Lewis, of Norfolk, was elected president of College Government and Ann Oakes, of Winchester, was elected president of the Y. W. C. A. in other important races.
