Sudden Death of Mrs. Maretzek.-Between 5 and 6 o'clock, last Friday evening, a lady, apparently suffering from the heat, called at No. 6 Amity street, New York, accompanied by a small boy, and asked for a glass of water. It was immediately procured for her, but before she could drink it she fell dead to the floor. The police were notified, when it was ascertained that the deceased was the wife of Max Maretzek, the late opera manager of the Academy of Music. The coroner was duly notified, and the little boy conveyed to the police headquarters.
