To a person who has lived in Cody for fifteen years there is a wonderful growth in the town. A growth not only measured by the business activity, but in the Cody beautiful.
Cody is becoming a city of beautiful homes, well cared for lawns and an abundance of shade trees. Not many years ago, the care of trees and lawns was handicapped by a limited water supply, but now that has been removed and an unlimited use of water for irrigating purposes is had.
It has been noted in going about town, that there are trees which if not given attention and water will die. This should not be, that a beautiful shade tree which has been given the care to reach a mature growth, would be permitted to die in one season and it is hoped that those responsible for them will give them the proper care.
Last year a tourist went eastward, and wrote a long story of his travels in the west. Incidentally he mentioned the fact that Cody was the cleanest town he had visited.
