Full Text

Down beside an open fire
Sits a mother at her own desire
Reading. thinking of her past,
Within her hands a book she holds fast.
One who thinks of home holds within themselves memories. Whether their home was a mansion or a cabin, because this after all is one's birthplace of life, and from it you meet the world, whether your intentions are bad or good. And so far from home we all wander, meeting new faces and making friends, and doing worthy deeds and bad ones.
And so it is on through life, until we meet with a bad misfortune, and then we recall back our memories of home and fireside chats.
