Full Text

New-Hampshire Election.

Extract of a letter received in town from a gentleman of respectability, in a central part of the state, and whose information may be depended upon as correct, says, "It is ascertained beyond a doubt, that there will be a respectable Republican majority in both branches of our Legislature the present year," he adds, "Should the votes for Governor be duly returned, the Republican Candidate will be elected, and our State will once more be hailed as one of the sister states in the Union."—The event will prove how far his positions are grounded as respects the Governor, (for the House and Senate we have no doubt will be Republican) but we anticipate (should a fair return be made) that the event will answer his expectations.
