Look at the Facts.

Here is a fact or two worth remembering. Georgia, Kentucky and Missouri were all injured by the war between the States. All of them had to submit to the abolition of slavery. The bonds issued by any one of these States for one thousand five hundred of bonds issued by Tennessee. Only yesterday was Louisiana able to get her freedom, and to-day one of her bonds will buy two of those of Tennessee.

When we remember that we have had exclusive control of our affairs in Tennessee, for a period of eight years, and that the destruction of State property in Tennessee as compared with that of Louisiana was small, comment is unnecessary.-- Nash. Banner.
