We hear that oath is also made, that said Charles Langley, of Boston, perished in the ship when she foundered at sea, and also, that this was the ship that took capt. Conklin, of the brig Two Sisters, of New-York, put the mate in irons, and plundered the vessel of a spy glass and other articles, and that capt. Morrison had the spy glass after, in use on board his ship. We learn that capt. Morrison, and Mr. Morris, super-cargo are at St. Augustine.

Joseph Moffay of Maryland and William Cowell of North Carolina arrested by warrant from Mayor John Glen and examined before Alderman John Love regarding service on British armed ship General Nichols of Grenada. They were picked up at sea by Capt. Callaghan of Schooner Exuma with others. Moffay shipped voluntarily; Cowell detained by compulsion along with Edward Potter and Charles Langley after their schooner Grace was encountered. At Nassau, guards placed on Cowell and Langley. Potter escaped to Quebec Frigate. Oath made that Langley perished in shipwreck; ship captured brig Two Sisters, imprisoned mate, plundered items including spy glass used by Capt. Morrison. Capt. Morrison and super-cargo Mr. Morris at St. Augustine.
