SIXTY-NINE SENIORS WILL GRADUATE

Sixty-nine seniors of the McMillan High School, twenty-five boys and forty-four girls, will be graduated in May. This is the largest graduating class in the history of this school. It also probably is the largest class of any city the size of Mexico.

Four years ago, 1916, sixty seniors were graduated and was the largest class up to that time. Under the able management of Supt. L. B. Hawthorne and the splendid array of teachers, the McMillan High School has progressed and grown until now it is recognized as one of the best educational institutions of its kind in the State of Missouri. Prof. Hawthorne and Mexico is to be congratulated on the wonderful advancement and growth of this school.

Commencement this year will be held May 16 and the school year closes May 17. Dr. Edgar James Swift, professor of Psychology at Washington University, St. Louis, will deliver the commencement address.

The baccalaureate sermon will be preached this year by the Rev. C. V. Lanius at the Methodist Church. Sunday, May 11th.
