They write from London, that notwithstanding the mild Answer that the King of Great-Britain made to the Memorial presented by Sir Thomas Geraldino, Minister from Spain, demanding the Restitution of Georgia to that Crown; yet it's believ'd and hop'd by the Subjects of Great-Britain, that his Britannick Majesty will not part with a single Inch of the Land he is in Possession of, either in Georgia or Carolina, these Colonies being of too great Importance to be given up without any Consideration; tho' the Court of Madrid flatters itself that this Demand will be comply'd with, in order to engage it to grant a Schedule for the South-Sea Company's annual Ship.
