Full Text

DR ZEA,
Vice-President of the Republic of Columbia.
A gentleman who arrived in this city yesterday from St. Thomas, informs us, that early in April, at which time he sailed, Dr. Zea, vice-president of the republic of Columbia, was there, waiting the arrival of his secretary, Senr. Zaraza, with whom he should immediately embark for the United States, in the schr. Montpelier, for this port.
Dr. Zea is mentioned in the late interesting letter from St. Thomas, of which we give a brief summary in our columns this day, as an embassador to the United States, to England, France and Rome, and if his advent excites interest from no other circumstance, the peculiar and wonderful resemblance, which in form and feature, he bears to the great Voltaire, will secure him, from the curious at least, a cordial welcome.
