OUR FOURTH VOLUME
With last week's issue we entered upon the publication of the Fourth Volume of the KNOXVILLE WEEKLY CHRONICLE.
We have labored to make our paper a welcome visitor to the homes of our patrons, and furnish such a table of contents that from the variety offered every taste would be suited. The tone of the Chronicle has been pronounced, and its efforts have been in the aid of progress and the advancement of the best interests of the people. That our efforts have been appreciated, we believe, from our large subscription list, and pursuing the same course in the future that has guided us in the past, we hope to merit an increased patronage and enter with confidence on the Fourth Volume of our paper.
