TO GIVE PLAY AT GARDEN THEATRE THIS EVENING

"THE FLAPPER GRANDMOTHER" IS BILL TO BE PRESENTED UNDER AUSPICES OF WOMAN'S CLUB

"The Flapper Grandmother" is the interesting play to be presented at 8 o'clock this evening at the Garden Theatre by the Woman's Club.

The musical comedy is in three acts with a delightful prologue, interspersed with good humor. The three acts are as follows:

ACT I.-Living room of Spriggin's Home.

ACT II.-Bargain Day at Spriggin's Store.

ACT III. -Welcome home to Grandma.

The cast is composed of local people and is as follows:

Andrew Spriggins (who believes in nothing modern)......Emil Sweeting

Mat Spriggins (his wife who wants to be up-to-date)..Minnie P. Harris

Lena Spriggins (the wild child) Mrs. Vera Coad

Belindy Spriggins (old fashioned and out-of-date type)...Bobbie Roberts

Maggie Pepper (the flapper grandmother) Mrs. Melvin Russell

Dick Tate (motor cop in love with Lena) Everett Rivas

The La Concha orchestra will play during the intermission. which will be an excellent feature of the evening's entertainment.
