LOSS OF LIEUT. HENDERSON'S COMMAND.

In relation to the fate of Lieut. Henderson, the Vera Cruz Sun of Anahuac, of the 27th ult., contains the following:

"We have seen a Mexican who told us that he was present when the detachment was taken in the chaparral after surrendering to twenty times their number, and shot! This is horrible, and the consequences will be sad ones! We will make no further remarks about this trait of cruelty and cowardice."

The transport ship Ohio sailed from New York on Friday morning for Vera Cruz. She has on board 225 men for the 3d regiment of Artillery, and 85 men for the 9th regiment of Infantry.
