The last intelligence from Boston, is, that the
convention had made but little progress in their
herculean task, having proceeded no farther than
the first article of the constitution. Upon an arith-
metical calculation, should each member, in that
hon. body, be allowed one hour only to deliver his
sentiments, reckoning six hours of speaking per day,
the time thus spent would amount to SIXTY-ONE
days.--It is said, that unless a seat be taken
up early in the morning, in the house where the con-
vention sits (which will contain near 4000 persons)
there is no possibility of crowding in.
