Graduation on Friday
The first graduation exercises of the Ellsworth Memorial High school will be held in the school auditorium Friday evening, starting at 8 o'clock.
The following program will be presented:
Processional, "War March of the Priests" from "Athalia"; invocation, Rev. Harry Martin; salutatory, "A Veritable Paradise", Eleanor L. Thresher; salutatory, "Famous Men of East and South Windsor", Elizabeth Reichle; essay, "Noteworthy Homesteads of Our Town", Josephine F. Lashetski; essay, "Backgrounds of the Seminary", Thomas M. Burgess; essay, "John Fitch", Mae M. Miller; solo, Olga Jacobs; valedictory, "History of Our High School Building", Marian Stone; remarks, William R. Wood; presentation of awards; presentation of class gift, Charles N. Enes, president of the class; presentation of diplomas, Superintendent Gerhardt E. Rast, John T. McNamara, chairman; class song, words by Marian Stone; recessional, "Coronation March" from "The Prophet"
