The American Navy.—May it continue to do honour to our country, justice to our enemies, and ever support the rights of free trade.

The government and people of the United States:—Destined to rise in splendour and wealth—let their prosperity be endless, and their principles of order and freedom pervade the habitable globe.

By the Rev. Joseph Goffe. The Orator of the day.—Neat, classical and eloquent—his present success, a sure pledge of future excellence.
By Gen. Caleb Burbank.—President Monroe.—May his dignified and impartial administration bring back political wanderers to the true principles of Washington.
By Josiah Stiles, Esq.—Constitution of the United States.—May it stand like a brazen wall to rebut the efforts of tyrants through all time, till the arches of heaven shall burst with the last trump.
By Capt. Joseph Griggs.—Gen. George Washington.—Brilliant his talents—invincible his courage—glorious his achievements—patriotick his services—immortal his name.
By Capt. Charles Heald.—State of Maine.—The fair daughter of Massachusetts—let her vaults be filled with gold, and her Banks be stable as her mountains and rivers.
By Amasa Braman, Esq.—The President of the day.—May the evening of his life be as happy, as the morning of it has been honourable and benevolent.
By Dana A. Braman.—The Vice-President of the day—who shared the perils of Bunker-Hill to achieve the Independence we this day celebrate.
By the Ladies.—Patriotick Citizens and Soldiers.—May you with watchful fidelity preserve the Independence you this day celebrate, while its benign influence shall be transmitted to future generations.
