At the breaking up a Council held a few Days ago upon the Arrival of a Courier dispatched from Versailles to the Marquis d'Ossun, it was resolved to send Orders to the Count de Fuentes, our Envoy Extraordinary in London, to offer again, at the first favourable Opportunity, the King's Mediation towards restoring Peace between England and France. - But while his Majesty seems inclined to put a Stop to the Effusion of Human Blood, he does not forget the Resolution he took, in quitting the Crown of Naples to ascend the Throne of Spain: He then promised the Infant Don Philip an Indemnification adequate to the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies; and as he intends to keep his Word, we have begun to make an Augmentation in our Troops, with a Design to put that Prince in Possession of the Places that have been promised him, in Spight of any Opposition that may be made to the Project.
