C. H. MANN, DIVISION PASSENGER AGENT OF L. & N., RETURNS FROM CAMPING TRIP.
That Pensacola would have a larger number of summer tourists this year than at any other time was the belief set forth yesterday by C. H. Mann, division passenger agent of the Louisville and Nashville railroad, who has just returned from an extended tour of Central Alabama, on a publicity campaign. On this trip he visited the stations of his road and relates that there is much interest in this section of the country manifested in all of the parts of Alabama that he visited, and the people are beginning to look towards the gulf city as their summer playground. This fact, coupled with the widespread advertising campaign which will soon be launched by the railroad in trying to induce tourists to Pensacola will result in a greater number than ever before. In working to this end he stated yesterday that a passenger agent would be placed at Selma on the 15th of May, and would help much in directing summer visitors towards Pensacola, as the improved chair and parlor car service between the two points will be a great inducement which has been lacking before.
