Color Photographer Opens Children's Portrait Studio

Eldon Coon, who for the past 12 years has been in the photography business with his brother in Ketchikan is visiting in Nome for the first time. He states that he finds newcomers to Alaska are seeing more of the new state than are the residents.

Having been in Alaska for 28 years, he is amazed at the many attractions throughout the state which he had not seen. While here, he has opened a studio for a few days, and is doing colored portraits of children, and adults as well as group family pictures. He is located in the former location of the Billikin Shop.
