Arrangements are being made and a delegation of approximately 25 is expected to make the trip. This provides an opportunity for the first caravan to make a trip over the "Hassayampa Streamlined Cut Off."
The delegation, will leave here Friday morning. The group will be prepared to make a good showing at the dedication and will be wearing ribbons showing they are from Buckeye.
The Caravan will take with them handbills which will be widely spread over Parker, congratulating them upon the completion of their magnificent bridge across the Colorado. The handbills will bear the map showing the "Hassayampa Cut Off." pointing out that the Cut Off would be a great benefit to Parker, making a new western entrance to the Salt River Valley. The bills will also extend an invitation to Parker to attend our Third Annual Los Dias Viejos Celebration November 18, 19, 20, 21.
This scheme will provide good advertising for Buckeye and the "Hassayampa Cut Off." It will also confirm a strong relationship between Parker and Buckeye, thus providing another big step toward establishing the Cut Off as a continuation of State Highway No. 72 and making a new route to Parker.
