LONDON, Feb. 9.

Extract of a letter from Falmouth, February 10.

"On Monday arrived here a Dutch East Indiaman, bound to Rotterdam from Batavia; having missed her convoy, he put into Scilly, from whence he came in quest of some other convoy. She is a ship of one thousand tons burthen, and not knowing of the embargo on Dutch ships, now lies, with a cutter of eighteen guns and two galliots of the same nation, under the protection of Sir John B. Warren's squadron, which consists of the Pomona of 54, Artois of 38, Concorde of 36, Anson of 28, and Galatea of 32 guns; they are to be joined by the Indefatigable of 38, Diamond of 38, and Apollo of 38 guns, or a cruise on the coast of France."
