The evening's entertainment consisting of the distribution of gifts and the carefully rehearsed programs to be put on by the primary and all intermediate grades, will conclude with a dance.
There will be no charge for any part of the Christmas eve entertainment.
Boxing Contests
The real seasonal gaieties will be ushered in next Saturday evening at Hill's hall, with a basketball game between the Oranges and the Greens; and boxing contests between aspiring little fellows adding zest to the occasion. In this latter projected feature there are two sets of boxers and they have formed themselves into sides, the Muskrats and the Gophers. The 'fights' will be between members of opposing sides, and the 'kids' are going into the ring, each with the grim determination to win by a knockout. The public may expect some first class toe-to-toe slugging. A dance will follow the contests. The usual basketball entrance fee will be charged.
Farce Comedy
The upper graders, under the direction of Mrs. N. Jean McCullah, are working on a farce comedy, "Who Wouldn't Be Crazy?" filled with laugh provoking lines and situations. Date of performance to be announced later.
A nominal admission fee will be devoted to show expense.
Committees
The faculty wants it understood that all givers of gifts are invited to call with their offerings at Hill's hall the day before Christmas. Mrs. Simon Josefson and Mrs. Jack Anderson will accept the packages and superintend placement. Hours 3 to 5.
Following are committees of club members working out details for the big night:
Candy bag filling: Marie Ollestad, Pearle Christensen, Elsie Johnson.
Decorations: Caroline Christiansen, Elizabeth Rogers, Pat Carlough, Dave Murphy.
Wrapping: Pearle Christensen, Elsie Johnson, Caroline Christiansen.
