12-hour Flight To Europe Predicted

LONDON, June - President J. T. Trippe of Pan American Airways told British aviation experts that he expects to see scheduled flights made from the United States to Europe in 12 hours.

Trippe delivered the 29th Wilbur Wright Memorial lecture on "Ocean Air Transport" at the meeting of the Royal Aeronautical Society. Said Trippe:

"Had it not been for the war, three nations, and more probably six, would have been operating services across the Atlantic. The advent of war left the United States to maintain essential transocean air communications across both the Pacific and the Atlantic."
