Full Text

A warning.--The Editor of this Gazette
having been informed by some of his friends,
that threats of violence against his person and
property have been uttered, if he perseveres
in the course, guaranteed to every citizen of
the United States by the constitution thereof
in the full and free expression of his sentiments
in relation to the course the government
has determined to pursue;--takes this
method and opportunity of warning all such
as have been so indiscreet as to make use of
them, that he is, and at all times will be, prepared
to defend both at the hazard of his life,
and that the lives of those attempting to commit
such violence will most certainly pay the
forfeit of such unlawful procedure.
